April 2025 Community Roundtable Recap

During our April Community Roundtable, Dr. Marvin Cotton Jr. moved us all with his powerful testimony of wrongful incarceration, transformation, resilience, healing, and hope. His story is a reminder that redemption and purpose can rise from even the darkest valleys.

Following him, Ms. Alice Seipelt from the Department of Health and Human Services enlightened us on the wide range of support and resources available through their services – helping bridge the gap for so many in need.

Ms. Tillisa Jackson of Parda Credit Union captivated us with her dynamite PowerPoint presentation, providing key insights into the outstanding financial services they offer to the community.

Ms. Cheryl Harvey gave a heartfelt update on our valued stakeholders and reminded us how thankful we are for every contributor who helps make Peacenic’s mission possible.

Our session was phenomenal – full of interaction, inspiration, and collaboration across every segment of the community.

A very special thank you goes to Ms. Carla Wilson of Friends In Deed – a phenomenal leader and true asset to our cause. Thanks to her, we now host our monthly meetings at St. Luke Church, a state-of-the-art facility that has warmly welcomed our vision.
